Rhinestone apparel should be stored folded with the stoned side facing out, in its own space, never wedged into a packed shelf. Sounds fussy. It is not. When a heavily stoned hoodie sits at the bottom of a dense stack, constant pressure grinds stone edges into the fabric layers around them, and every time you yank a garment out of that stack you drag stones across zippers and buttons.
